The IT Department is a Melbourne based company that provides full-range IT outsourcing to small-to-medium enterprises (10 - 100 employee companies). As our name implies, we try to act as an integrated part of your business, just as an in-house IT Department would, but without the ongoing overheads.

We cover all our client needs, in two dimensions. Technologically, we cover all information and communication technologies, this includes; computers and networks, voice networks, PABXs, web development and hosting, audio and video content development, and a broad array of related areas. In the business dimension, we cover the full life-cycle of IT; from IT strategy to planning and budgeting, project management, purchasing, installation and implementation, break-fix repair, help desk, training and ongoing oversight of all IT facilities.

We only hire mature, competent professionals who have both exceptional technical skills and strong business experience. All of them have run their own businesses, and know what it's like to face the cash-flow challenges that many of our clients face. We are constantly seeking the right business decision - the one our client would make if they had the time and knowledge to get across the relevant space in person.
